If you share our content on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, or any other social platform, or use your accounts on these networks to logon to our system, we may ask you to access certain information from your social media profile, but this will always be done in compliance with the privacy policies of these social network sites.

We embed YouTube videos on some of our articles and blogs. You do not need to give us personal information to watch such videos, but you may be given option to log on YouTube if you wish to use their service. Using their service means you comply with their privacy policy.

When we offer something for purchase on our site, we use Paypal to collect payments. Paypal may ask for your personal details when you sign up to use their service. Using their service means you comply with their privacy policy.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
