CSC Region 2 CSE-PPT Announcement

After Civil Service Commission Region 1 announced that they will conduct the limited Civil Service Exam in the region, CSC Region 2 followed with their own announcement. They said on their Facebook Page that they will be conducting the Examination on March 13, 2022, for both Professional and Sub-Professional Levels. The exam, however, will only be limited to Agency requests for their currently employed workforce. They also mentioned that their quota has already been met for the entire region and applications are closed.

This announcement means that only employed government employees (usually job orders and contractual) who have yet to get eligibility will be able to take the exam. Civil Service Commission Region 2 followed up with a post reiterating their announcement:

Their Facebook post states that due to the increasing COVID-19 transmission in the region, Civil Service Commission’s Regional Office II has limited the conduct of the Career Service Examination Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) to agency requests only. They also informed the public that CSC Cagayan-Batanes Field Office in Carig is CLOSED as some of their employees and staff tested positive with COVID-19 and those whom they had contact with are in a Mandatory Quarantine, awaiting the result of their RTPCR Tests. The CSC Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino Field Offices are also TEMPORARILY CLOSED due to COVID-19 exposure and transmission.

While this is a bit of a disappointment for those who have already completed their requirements and are ready to file for a spot at the Civil Service Exam, all hope is not lost.
